In Pursuit of Quality Education

To finish a higher echelon is indeed a breakthrough for an educator who aims to impart knowledge to the younger generation, beyond reproach

 

As we can see most of the teaching staff in this university are pursuing a Masterate and Doctoral degree and one of the reason is to provide a better performance in their teaching. But for the most, the main objective is to provide quality education and contribute to the research culture of this university. It is equally important because we still have a long way to go as we approach the challenges of universityhood.

To pursue a higher education, is always at the top priority. Since the Romblon State University is a newly converted university, it is really a challenge to the entire teaching faculty most especially to the College of Arts and Sciences that the following degrees: AB Political Science, AB Public Administration, AB English and BS Biology. Our battle-cry is to definitely have new breed of educators that will spearhead quality education to the younger generation.. Most of the faculties of the College accepted the challenge by pursuing their graduate studies. It is once said that you cannot impart knowledge when this knowledge is out of your reach. Thus, to finish a master and doctoral degree seems a vital factor for attaining such a high quality education.


           

The College of Arts and Sciences is proud of its new doctorate degree holders: Dr. Rosario A. Bantang - Doctor of Philosophy Major in Literature from University of Santo Tomas (UST) 2011, Dr. Edna M. Deparment of Languages Initiates Conference on Mother Tongue

In collaboration with KUSOG Sibalenhon Inc. ASI Center for Culture and Arts Inc., I-Asi Radio, RDL-clear, The RSU Administration, Supreme Student Council and the Harrow, the Deparment of Languages of the Romblon State University, initiated 1st Provincial Conference on Mother Tongue successfully. The Conference was held at Audio Visual Center on September 24, 2011. The theme was; 3 Rila: Usang adlaw ning Sinandokan sa Lengwaheng Romblomanon.
