CAS Celebrates Acquaintance Party

To socialize with each other, College of Arts and Sciences celebrated the annual Acquaintance Party at Scarlet Beach Resort in Gabawan, Odiongan, Romblon last June 24, 2011.

Students arrived at exactly 8:00 in the morning and have the Log-in for the attendance. The acquaintance party was opened by a yell of every department and a sing-along by those who wants to sing in a rented videoke juke box. Every blocks of the department brought their own foods and snacks to eat.

Everyone transferred at the hall of the beach for the reason that the rain fell. When everybody was already at the hall, the program was formally started and was opened by an Invocation and followed by the National Anthem, and the Induction of the Officers of every department was followed. Also at that time student of CAS prepared some Intermission number by department to entertain their professors and co-students.

Afterwards, the program was stopped for an hour for the lunch time at exactly 12 noon. And also for the preparation of the “Search for Ms. Barako and Mr. Gay 2011, which was the highlight of the program. The four corners of the hall was filled with screams of everyone who cheered for their representatives. Enjoyment was in everyone at that moment. Mr. Francis Lester Arevalo of 2nd  year Public Administration student got the title Mr. Gay 2011 and Miss Krismalyn Soriano of 3rd year Public Administration got the title of Miss Barako 2011. After the search, a Closing Remarks was given and after that everybody enjoyed playing and swimming at the pool. The students take their Log-out attendance at 4:00 in the afternoon and happily went home.
