Plenary I speaker, Dir. Nicon Fameronag, Director for Communication, DOLE tackled Cultural Amnesia: Language as a cure. Ms. Heather Kilgour, M.A from the Summer Institute of linguisties delivered her keynote address for her contribution to the ASI Society through her research and writings. The founder of ASCCA, RDA-CLEAR, Head Provincial Adviser for Cultural and Historical Affairs, Plenary II Speaker Dir. KaragatanKaraan of Romblon, Regional Oral Tradition in Route to National Literature was given by Dr. Sherwin Perlas of the Romblon State University, Focus Lecturer I.
Last Focus Lecturer II was Dr. Emelyn R. Villanueva and reechoed on Mother Tongue and National Development. The mentioned program focused on the three languages of Romblomanon. To use, enrich, enlighten and imprint the importance of our language to our minds and hearts is the main aim of the conference.
