On my salad days

By  RONALD ALLAN B. FABELLON

When brother Earth was still young
It plays with life at ease
Were all things are yet daring
Seems that life is at ease
Thee, things vehemently young

Young, as like innocence – barely exceptional
Until my first cry intervened to forfeit
That happiness which lies beyond sacrifice
At a simple glance- the dazzling change flew
Unto the aisle of my childhood life

Days have passed, Till’ months flew
And years drastically moved to fold
I was a jewel on my parent’s eye
A treasure to who can’t able to stole
And a dream which unfolded the annals

On those innocent years, I was fascinated
Made excited, on my first beat of love
And felt the a certain joy in an instant
For which had caused a lifetime grief
Carried the gravity of my juvenile mistakes

A lifetime bystander of love....
On my past salad days…..
